Family & ExpatriationAn English workshop designed for expat spouses to help them see their expat experience in a whole new way!
If you're new to Lima and you're looking for an event to help you make some new friends, do some networking, and have fun, then Expat Scrapbook is the place for you! This entertaining workshop is sure to help you see your expatriate experience in a whole new light.
Living in a new culture is a difficult and daunting experience, of that there is no question. Finding strength and focus in a new land, is no easy task. When Jessica Schwab, director of scrappingmaniaperu.com, moved to the US from her native Peru, she was faced with this very problem.
While struggling with her transition to the States, Jessica was able to use scrapbooking to chronicle her experiences in her non-native home and quickly turned her expat experience into some of the greatest memories of her life.
NEXOS Initiative has invited Jessica Schwab to share her experience while teaching us the techniques of Scrapbooking. Now the director of Scrappingmania, Jessica is going to guide you through her techniques at Expat Scrapbook in a casual, fun-filled setting. In addition to Jessica you will be pleased to meet host and facilitator Graciela Bareiro of NEXOS Initiative. Graciela has years of experience helping expats adapt to their new cultures, and hosts a variety of Cross-Cultural Training & Leadership workshops (for more information, click here).
So if you're looking for a fun and different way to meet interesting people and get some advice on your new host country, then don't miss Expat Scrapbook!
